Warren is a town in Litchfield County, Connecticut. The population was 1,461 at the 2010 census. The town was named for Revolutionary War General Joseph Warren. On July 1, 2006 businessman Joseph Cicio placed most of Warren's commercial district on eBay for $5,000,000. The town has a total area of 27.6 square miles (71.4 km²), of which, 26.3 square miles (68.1 km²) of it is land and 1.2 square miles (3.2 km²) of it (4.54%) is water.
